i think that beast’s lee Gikwang trained under JYP ent. and then later transfered to Cube ent.

before Yoseob BEAST in Cube Entertainment, he trained in JYP Entertainment and transfered to M Boat Entertainment.
Jiyoon, Gayoon, and Sohyun 4Minute are from JYP entertainment, transfered to Cube Entertainment.

notice that most jyp went to cube or a cube. that is because a cube and cube are under jyp companies
jungmin from SS501 didn’t really train under SM Ent right? Both SM and DSP wanted to sign him but in the end he chose DSP and trained under DSP
before Kahi After School in Pledis Entertainment, she trained under SM Entertainment
Jaehyo didn’t just transfer from Cube Entertainment to Brand New Stardom… right? I don’t remember it being so simple… Hm…
I’m not entirely sure about that either..but until I find something that proves this info otherwise, I’ll leave it this way
jaehyo transfer from cube ent.. to brand new stardom.. but he also a trainee for LOEN entertainment.. and DSP Media.. but i don’t know the sequence though..
Hyorin SISTAR, Youngmin and Kwangmin Boyfriend are from JYP Entertainment and then transfered to Starship Entertainment

JYP has a great training program but they train their trainees for a loooong time (example is Jo Kwon from 2AM; he trained for eight years). So most of them who have trained for an extensive period of time usually switch over to another agency to debut sooner.
and as I know, train under JYP is not easy, your report score must be good. if not, you can’t train under JYP.

but sm is famous for it’s slave-like-training, so any artist who came out of sm must be either talented or has godlike face

well you need to pay some fee you’ve spent in your trainee days if you’re about to leave sm, so not many trainee left sm compare to jyp. that’s what i heard, it’s written in the contract, at least your contract expired you don’t need to pay anything
Wasn’t Raina originally from SM ent.? Then she transferred to Pledis?
No. She was a trainee under JYP Entertainment.
However, she was a former student of SM Academy, which is an academy runned and owned by SM Entertainment.
SM Academy is a school that specializes in dancing, singing and acting. It kinda sounds like she was trained under SMent, but it’s really just like a “school for the arts”. After graduating SM Academy you move on to be a trainee, and then you finally debut!

from what I know, IU was a JYP audition but never was from SMe. So she’s LOEN since the beginning after being rejected at JYP

CL was sohee roommate back in trainee days. she even mentioned by sohee in the wondergirls’ so hot and nobody album acknowledgement section. and in 2pm section too. there are few pictures from their trainee days.

So crazy is the kpop star….i wonder what is the target of they transfered from their real agency to the other agency like now?Im so confused…
for example sm, the possibility for trainee to debut is small and you need to be one of the top trainee. when someone sees that they wont able to debut in one agency they move to other agency, thats one of the reason, the other reason maybe the agency music’s style doesnt match one. take gd for example, he was more to hip hop and free music while sm’s music style is kind of orchestra thing
why does so many JYP trainees transferred to cube ?

i scrolled through this long list to confirm whether jang geun suk trained under sm but no mention of him
G-Dragon never trained under SM ent. YG Family has asked him to become their trainee since they are 13 years old (6 grade school), and SM didn’t take a trainee if they aren’t old enough just like Kai EXO, he was originally accept in SM at the age 12 but they told him to come back after 2 years, so he did. But GD never come to SM, even YG was come himself to GD’s house helping him begging to his mother for becoming a YG trainee

i just noticed, there’s not a single artist took training from other labels have transferred to SM Entertainment. Is it because SME has high standards or may be they want to personally mold their artists perfectly for stardom.

Thanks for making these list. But as long as I knew that Junho is’t moving from YG to JYP. When he auditioned for YG and JYP, he passed in both audition. But he choose JYP and left YG…

The reason why Jaehyo left Cube was because he sustained a knee injury, which underwent surgery for. If it hadn’t been for that then he would’ve probably been a part of B2ST.

as far as i know, the lead vocal from spica is from YG entertainment. she was transferred by YG to the spica’s agency.
Sunny from Girl’s Generation was a Starlight Entertainment’s ex-trainee. she was a member of a duet called ‘Sugar’, but she never debuted. then someone recomended her to switch to SM. she refused at first because she was afraid that she would be called a cheater or something (coz SM was owned by her uncle, Lee Soo Man). but in the end, she gave up and she debuted as an SM artist with the Girl’s Generation that we know now…
