Personal Statement: What I do here on the site consists of many tasks, but to sum it all up in a nutshell, we’ll just say that I am in charge of handling all intermediary affairs. To put it more simply, I am part of the bridge between those of us who work behind the scenes to maintain, manage, and moderate the site, and those of you who come to visit, explore, and learn about the site.

I am also one of the chief coordinators, which requires us to go through and approve all of your guys’ comments, just to make sure that things are kept clean and environmental-friendly to everyone’s eyes. We also review your individual requests and are the ones who mainly respond to posts that you all make here.

In addition to that, I assist with communications; meaning that I work with associates outside of the site, keeping contact with them and setting up relations.

But above all, I am simply an editor – a job that I couldn’t thank SuMandu enough for. I have the opportunity to continuously and consistently update our followers, the Mandu-ers, on everything K-pop. I — alongside many others who work with me — get the chance to research information on the Korean idols and celebrities we all adore, organize that information into efficient, effective profiles, and then publish them here for your viewing pleasure. That is the hefty side of what I do.

Yet, there is also a creative design to this whole process. I have the ability to come up with new ideas on how to further improve and expand the site, and then once that is covered, I get to take that next step forward and put those ideas to test. The reviews; the critiques; the funky, interesting stuff — that’s something I like to spearhead.

All in all, I am merely a lover of K-pop as much as the rest of you are…and that job is the best job of them all. ❤
