They have been around longer than SNSD, so in a sense i would say that they are more popular. their fanclub is called Cassiopeia.

yes, they have made it into the book twice, for having the world’s largest fanclub. but sorry, i really don’t know if the people mentioned are their fans or not.
Yes, DBSK was on the list of Guinness Book of Record twice as a group with the most fans, once in 2008 and last year 2011. They had like 800.000 fans in 2008, sadly it decrease till only around 720.000. but still, it a lot!
I don’t know about The Princess of Thailand, but President of SK, Lee Myung Baek, once held a red ballon with ‘TVXQ Cassiopeia’ printed on it. So yeah, some people assume it as the president was a fans of TVXQ.
Just like their name, TVXQ, TVfXQ, DBSK, Tohoshinki, the fans also have a lot of names. The Korea fans called ‘Cassiopeia’. The Japan fans called ‘Bigeast’. The Europe called ‘Phoenix’.

Dear sumandu, dbsk are NOT disband. Sme never stated that dbsk is officialy disband. JYJ were only quit from the company not also quit from dbsk group!! Their member jaejoong had said that jyj want to go back with HoMin as dbsk but with the term they will not go back to the fuck SME! Yunho and Changmin made their comeback to rise up TVXQ name,like they do previous years. It does not mean TVXQ was only two members.If you dont know anything just SHUT UP!! Beware cassiopeia are billion! Honestly i’m not cassiopeia and sometime i hate them, and i’m hottest. But i dont like people who say a group that have a lawsuit problem with their company like dbsk, kara ,etc. was disband as what you did.! sorry! in no way was i ever trying to be rude, since i don’t know DBSK very well, the comments stating that they did disband were kept because right now as i speak to you, i did not know whether they actually disbanded or not. that’s why i am replying to all these DBSK comments, so i can sort it through. but now knowing that they ‘officially’ did not disband, i thank you, and will sort out any harsh comments on them. sorry if i ever seem like a hypocrite, but it’s only because of my lack of knowledge of other groups that i don’t know what’s considered ‘bad’ and ‘good’. and though most see me as a Sone, i’m more of a Shawol than anything and have deleted many bad comments towards them, so i do not only protect SNSD. sorry for all the trouble.

Yunho is the leader of DBSK, while Jaejoong main vocal. Jaejoong is also the oldest (by about a month), so I think they originally considered having him as the leader, but he wanted Yunho (second oldest) to be leader instead.

The original form of TVXQ was 5. but three of them, Junsu, Yoochun, Jaejoong, filled lawsuit against SM, their company in June 2009. Due to this lawsuit, TVXQ Korea activity was held back. But they were still going with Japan activity until January 2010.
After that, they have a long hiatus until the three member made a new unit called Junsu/ Yuchun/ Jaejoong or JYJ. While Yunho and Changmin made a comeback in January 2011 as TVXQ.

Yes. His actual birth date is February 4, 1986. January 26, 1986 is the registered one. As far as I know, his parents never explained exactly why they chose to register him so late. It may have been for zodiac/cosmic mojo, to make school easier on him, superstitions, or just for some reason that only they know.
It happens all the time, though. Well, not all the time, but there are quite a few people who have two separate birthdays.
I know both of TVXQ2 and JYJ are doing well.. but sometimes,, i really miss them as 5.. And i watching their old videos again and again.. It;s really bring back my memories..

I thought Suju is older than them and my thought is right. Leeteuk almost 30 while Yunho just 26! I also thought Suju debut first and then TVXQ. But TVXQ debut first. TVXQ debut in 2003 while Suju in 2005. So much different! This is the advantage having 5 members in group. xD
